Diana Containerships Inc. Announces Drawdown of an Additional US$25.5 Million From The Term Loan Facility with The Royal Bank of Scotland Plc

ATHENS, GREECE, November 19, 2015 - Diana Containerships Inc. (NASDAQ: DCIX), (the "Company"), a global shipping company specializing in the ownership of containerships, today announced that, through a separate wholly-owned subsidiary, it has completed the drawdown of an additional US$25.5 million, secured by the vessel "Hamburg", under the previously announced term loan facility of up to US$148 million with The Royal Bank of Scotland plc.

Diana Containerships Inc.'s fleet currently consists of 14 container vessels (6 Post-Panamax and 8 Panamax).
